Bamboos
Bamboos form elegant screens or clumps in dappled shade and give
a garden an extra aural dimension with their delicately rustling
leaves. The bamboos offer not only foliage but often attractive
coloured stems. They thrive in damp soil rich in organic matter
with shelter form strong drying winds. Some bamboos can be invasive
while others grow at a more sedate pace.
Check with a member of staff about the growing habits of the variety
you want to make sure it's suitable. If you do not see what you
want in the nursery please ask a member of staff.
