Roses
Roses are the staple of many English gardens and are synonymous
with English summertime. They are grown for their very attractive
flowers and often very fragrant flowers, and sometimes for their
hips. A well chosen mix can ensure a continuous summer display.
We have a wide range of roses available in containers all year
round including:
- patio,
- floribunda,
- hybrid-tea,
- shrub,
- climbers,
- ramblers,
- standards (half and full)
Our container-grown roses can be planted any time of the year as
long as the ground is not frozen, very dry or very wet. From early
November we get in new stock and we can supply roses bare root.
If you do not see what you want in the nursery please ask a member
of staff. Our roses are ordered in August, so the earlier you can
let us know what you want the more likely we are to be able to get
the variety you want.
